From intent to measured value

We are called when failure is no longer an option.

We finish what strategy starts.

No engagement outlives its gate.

90 days to a decision. Scale or stop.

The number you set is the one we are held to.

The problem

Business owns the goal. Technology owns the capability. Nobody owns the line between them.

That is a boardroom problem, not a delivery problem. Time to market is never one function’s problem: it runs from sales to supply chain, across owners who each hold part of the input and none of the outcome. Nobody is accountable for the whole line, so it does not move. That line is the unit of work.

The system

Six disciplines, governed as one.

A boutique can hand you a working system. We hand you the working system, the measured result against baseline, the business case with cost of ownership, and a team who can run it without us. Not a better version of the same offer. A different one.

The 90 day thread

COREV. Nothing advances on a meeting. It advances on evidence.

Five stages, an evidence gate at every transition, ownership passed from a named person to a named person, and a binary Demo Day at day 90.How the 90 day sprint works

  1. 01

    Capture

The one problem worth solving in 90 days, the business case for it, and the evidence that the fundamentals can carry AI on top.

  2. 02

    Orchestrate

The make or buy decision, the architecture, and the sprint backlog. Ownership passed by name.

  3. 03

    Realise

A working system built on real data with real users, examined at a midpoint review with the executive sponsor.

  4. 04

    Evaluate

Controlled rollout, training and enablement, and the KPI evidence that the outcome is real.

  5. 05

    Value

Demo Day. A binary decision on the evidence: scale or stop, and the next sprint priority.

  1. Day 0

    Kickoff

  2. Day 45

    Midpoint review

  3. Day 90

    Demo Day

Amplified Engineering

How humans and agents build, without giving up the wheel.

Humans own Direct, Verify and Evolve. Agents own Implement. The boundary of autonomy is set by a person at Route and enforced as machine readable policy, not as convention.See the DRIVE loop

  1. Human owned

    Direct

A human sets the intent and the definition of done.

  2. Human sets the boundary

    Route

The client's named owner sets the boundary of autonomy, enforced as machine readable policy.

  3. Agent owned

    Implement

    Agents build inside the boundary.

  4. Human owned

    Verify

A human verifies the output against the definition of done.

  5. Human owned

    Evolve

A human folds what was learned back into the system.

Make or Buy

Bartholdi Labs holds no software licence revenue, so we can tell you to buy.

Most firms recommend building, because building is what they invoice. That is not our incentive, and our ventures arm gives us a route to what already exists. Total cost of ownership and return decide the question. Where owning the intellectual property is not the point, we tell you.How make or buy is decided

  1. Prompt

Learn the shape of the problem with what is already available before committing to anything.

  2. Buy

Deploy a validated solution from the curated ecosystem where the capability is already commoditised.

  3. Build

Purpose build only where the solution becomes the client's own advantage.

What it leaves behind

A standing AI Centre of Excellence, after we withdraw.

The pipeline that finds the next use case, the governance that keeps it safe, and the people who can now run it without us.What the centre installs

Who does the work

The person who has already run it, inside the team.

A boutique staffs engineers. We embed an operator who has run the function you are fixing, inside the delivery team while the work happens, not reviewing it from a steering committee. The method is built on the strongest independent research available, disagreements left intact.Read the research Meet the mentors See measured outcomes
