Cookie policy

What we set

This site sets no cookies. Not analytics cookies, not preference cookies, and not the strictly necessary kind either — there are none to exempt, because there are none at all. It also sets no pixel, tag, script, iframe or beacon, and stores no identifier on your device by any other means.

Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party content delivery network, and no page here contacts any third party origin, so no request is made that could let somebody else set an identifier while you read.

Because nothing is set, there is nothing to ask you to consent to, and you will not see a cookie banner on this site.

Measurement

We measure how this site is used so that we can improve it. Our analytics run on our server and place no cookies on your device. We do not track you across other websites, we do not build a profile of you, and we retain only aggregate statistics such as how many people read a page and which countries they came from. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving our website.

Those statistics are produced by our hosting provider, Netlify, from the request data it already receives in order to serve you this page. Netlify is a United States company. What that means for your data, and the safeguards that apply to it, is set out in our privacy policy, which also names who is responsible for this site and how to reach us.

If this changes

If we ever add a technology that needs consent, we will present a consent choice with equal prominence for accepting and refusing, load nothing non essential before an affirmative choice, and provide a permanent way to change your preferences. This page will then list each technology by name, purpose, provider, duration and category.
